Join us at Thunder Bay’s longest running skating club.
All skating sessions take place at the Port Arthur Arena which is centrally located.
TBFSC was the only club in Thunder Bay invited to participate in the pilot program for the Skate Canada new CanSkate. The program was deemed successful and was then implemented across Canada. We continue to offer this fun and upbeat Learn to Skate program to the standards of Skate Canada. This program teaches the fundamentals of skating, building a strong foundation for hockey, speed skating, ringette or figure skating.
We offer a large number of coaches and Program Assistants to create a healthy teacher to skater ratio. We are the only club in Thunder Bay with Nationally Certified Coaches.
Our fun and upbeat program offers monthly newsletters, theme days, family and Christmas skate, awards and fun activities! All skaters are invited to participate in the Ice show at the end of the season.
